Lisa Michelle Goodman, 47, of Willow Springs, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Springfieldafter a long illness.
She was born Aug. 12, 1969, in Mountain View, daughter of Thomas and Wanda June Vandeventer Goodman.
She graduated from Willow Spring High School in 1987. She worked as a CNA in West Vue Nursing Home in West Plains and Kabul High Rise in Cabool before her health began to fail.
She was baptized at an early age and had renewed her faith in the last few years.
She loved music and enjoyed singing. She also spent time knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Matthew Goodman.
Survivors include three siblings, Terry Mays of Willow Springs, David Goodman of Bucyrus and Bill Goodman of Nixa; a special friend, Lisa Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life is 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, in Clear Springs Cemetery with Brother David Goodman officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
