Della Mae Aldridge Dunigan, 91, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, at Licking Park Manor.
She was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Tyrone, daughter of Gregory and Lillie Mae Collins Aldridge. She and Hubert Dunigan were married Sept. 2, 1943.
She grew up in the Tyrone area and graduated ninth grade.
She received Jesus Christ as her Savior in her later years.
She loved to shop and go to flea markets and yard sales. She enjoyed embroidery, making beautiful potholders and dish towel sets for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lucille and Lil; two brothers, Delbert and Denver; and a daughter, Judy McConnaughhay.
Survivors include a son, Gary Dunigan of Licking; two sisters, Lorene Earp of Salem and Dessie Dunigan of Calimesa, Calif.; three grandsons; three great-grandsons; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Friday, June 23, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastor David Barbee officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
