A Summersville man was injured Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on Highway 17.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Dorrin L. Belcher, 64, was traveling northbound five miles south of Houston when his 2013 Honda motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the highway. Belcher, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
The motorcycle had moderate damage from the 12:28 p.m. wreck.
