Eric Sloan and the HHS football team begin the 2017 season on Monday with their first official practice. 

The 2017 Houston High School fall sports season begins Monday with the first official practices.

July 31 is the first day allowed by the Missouri State High School Activities Association for teams to participate in official practices. It will be the first sessions for the HHS football, softball and volleyball programs.

The HHS football team will practice from 7-10 a.m. with third-year coach Eric Sloan.

The softball team will practice at 8 a.m. on Carter Field. It’s the beginning of the sixth season for the Lady Tigers under the direction of coach Brent Hall.

The HHS volleyball team starts its second season with coach Loran Richardson from 8-10 a.m. inside Hiett Gymnasium.
