A portion of Highway 17 will be reduced to one lane through the beginning of November for improvements.
The Missouri Department of Transportation said pavement work and shoulder construction will begin July 24 from U.S. 63 in Houston to Highway 106 in Summersville. There will be a 10-foot width restriction through the area.
Work will be 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., including weekends as necessary. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling through the area.
