The P.R.E.S.S. Enhancement Committee (Plato, Roby, Evening Shade, Success) is searching for businesses and vendors to participate in the annual Roby Fair on Saturday, Sept. 9.
The family day of fun will start with breakfast in the community center, a parade at 9 a.m. and the fair to begin around 10 a.m. and go until 5 p.m., ending with a dinner and entertainment.
Games and prizes, contests and musical entertainment throughout the day and evening are scheduled. Vendors are encouraged to sell their crafts, homemade items or other items. Local businesses are also encouraged to set up a booth. Electricity is available, but limited. Estimates are that more than 1,000 people attended last year’s Roby Fair.

Also, the annual cruisein at Walt’s in Roby is set for 3 p.m. Saturday (July 29). The first 50 cars will get dash plaques, and door prizes will be presented throughout the event. For information, call Jeanie at 417-217-0737 or Dallas at 417-458-4847.
