Monthly Texas County sales tax revenue dropped about 10 percent from the same period a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The total from three, half-cent sales taxes was $63,667 each, which was down about $6,900 on each.
In the first seven months of the year, each sales tax has generated more than $595,000. That’s about 1.7 percent less than the same period in 2016.
