Gena Young Stark, 43, passed away Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, at Cox Hospital in Springfield,
She was born May 5, 1974, in Houston, daughter of Casper Eugene Young and Reta Louise Volner. She and Clinton Jeffrey Stark were married Oct. 13, 2000.
She attended Summersville Schools. As a young child, she attended the Pentecostal Church in Mountain View. She worked at Angelica Uniform Company and Bay Creek Garment Factory in Summersville. She was also employed at Paramount Apparel Factory in Winona.
She loved to read and spend time with her family. She especially love to spend time with her grandson, Caleb.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Young, and a brother, Jeremy Young.
Survivors include her husband, Clinton Stark; three children, Corey Young of Summersville and Lakin Stark and Ethan Stark of the home; her mother, Reta Young of Mountain View; four brothers, LH Young of Birch Tree, Jessie Young of Mountain View, Hubie Young of Peace Valley and Dustin Young of Summersville; two sisters, Crystal Armstrong and Heather Bey of Mountain View; a grandson; and a host of other family members.
Services were Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Summersville City Cemetery.
