The Houston volleyball team lost its road match Tuesday night at Summersville 25-14, 25-16.
Senior Chloe Hunninghake had four assists to lead HHS (1-6). Tara Stanton had two kills. Hunninghake, Sevanna Rowland and Kennedy Campbell had one ace apiece.
“It was a rough night. Lack of effort killed us,” Lady Tigers coach Loran Richardson said. “Right now, it is a mental game for us. We are capable of winning games and playing strong, but we can’t handle the pressure right now.
“We are working on our mental game every day. Hopefully, the girls will start to believe in themselves and handle the pressure as the season goes on. We can do it. We just have to put it into practice.”
