Dorothy Marie Wilson, 101, passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at Mountain View Healthcare.
She was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Kempton, Ind., daughter of William Henry Miller and Aulta Mae Davis. She and Willis W. “Bill” Wilson were married April 30, 1937, in Mountain View. He passed away in 2003.
She and her husband, Bill, lived in Mountain View for many years. Following his death, she lived at Mountain View Healthcare.
She attended Pilgrim Rest Church near Mountain View for many years. She enjoyed going to the church services at the health care center.
She was an avid reader. She also like to croquet. She and Bill loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; and two sisters, Melba Cotton and Waneda Brooks.
Survivors include a sister, Aldena Justino of San Leandro, Calif.; and many other family members. Services were Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Bradford Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin Woolsey officiating. Burial was in Summersville City Cemetery.
