The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued 34 citations and 29 warnings Aug. 25 during a DWI saturation in Texas County.
Operations were held on U.S. 63, U.S. 60 and Highway 17. Totals included:
• Eight speed citations.
• 12 seat belt citations.
• Four driver license violation citations.
• Five non-moving violation citations.
• One felony possession of a controlled substance arrest.
• One misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance arrest.
• One felony warrant arrest.
• Two misdemeanor warrant arrests. “The Missouri State Highway Patrol is dedicated to removing impaired drivers from our roadways,” said Capt. Mark G. Inman. “DWI saturations are one tool we use to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri’s motorists. Please be careful when behind the wheel and never drink and drive.”
