The following accidents were reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:

• Two Houston children were injured Friday night when a vehicle struck a deer about two miles north of Raymondville. Tpr. Jason Sentman said a southbound 2002 Chevrolet Venture driven by Dustin L. McLard, 30, of Houston, struck the animal on Highway 137.

Two passengers, Jasmine N. Mitchell, 9, and Cloarrissa J. Weeks, 11, sustained minor injuries and were to seek their own medical treatment. The vehicle had minor damage.

• A Licking man was seriously injured last Wednesday morning in a head-on wreck in Phelps County. Henry Futch, 40, was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center and later to University Hospital in Columbia. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The patrol said Futch was traveling northbound on Highway J five miles south of Interstate 44 when the 2016 Chevrolet Sonic he was driving crossed the centerline and struck a 2014 GMC Acadia driven by Brenda J. Smith, 63, of Newburg. Both vehicles were totaled.

Smith, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center. She had moderate injuries.
