The following accidents were reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Carla N. Selby, 32, of Bucyrus, was seriously injured Saturday night in a crash north of Summersville. Sgt. Dale Pounds said a northbound 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Selby, 32, traveled off Highway 17 five miles north of Summersville and overturned, ejecting the driver. Selby was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Pounds said she was cited for DWI, careless and imprudent driving and failing to register a motor vehicle before being airlifted.
• A teenager was seriously injured last Tuesday night in an ATV accident southeast of Summersville. Tpr. Marty Wiseman said a 2007 Suzuki 250 ATV struck a stump in a field and ejected the driver, Bridgget N. Morris of Mountain View. The mishap occurred on private property in a field off Highway WW seven miles southeast of Summersville.
Morris was flown by medical helicopter to Cox South in Springfield. Assisting at the scene were Cpl. Curtis Haden, Tpr. Daniel Hinten and the Summersville Fire Department.
