TEXAS COUNTY DEMOCRATS
The Texas County Democrat Central Committee met Sept. 26 at Pizza Hut in Houston to elect a new chairman, due to the resignation of Ron Kramer, who has returned to his family home in Ohio.
Paul Meier of Licking was nominated and elected chairman. The remaining officers are Vice Chair Janis Mayberry; Secretary Rose Ward; and Treasurer Jim Gagen. Two new committee members were chosen and introduced to the group. They are Ken and Maxine Hogan of Mountain View representing Pierce Township.
John Mitchell of Mountain Grove was guest speaker, making several interesting suggestions and comments.
The next meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24.
