Graveside services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in Lebanon Cemetery

Mary Christine Williams, 84, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born March 29, 1936, near Houston, daughter of Joseph and Jean Burris Wolford. She and Carl Eugene Williams were married in May 1954. He passed away in September 1972.

After graduating from Houston High School, she relocated with her husband, Carl, to the Lebanon area. She continued her education at Drury University. Around 1992, she worked at Fort Leonard Wood with the Army Corp of Engineers.

She enjoyed reading and liked hunting for treasures while antiquing. She especially loved her nieces and nephews. She appreciated nature’s beauty and particularly liked sunflowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carl.

Survivors include a sister, Carol Brown, of White Hall, Ill.; three brothers, Howard Wolford of Houston, Tom Wolford of Olive Branch, Miss., and Stephen Wolford of San Antonio, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon.
