Mary Estella Scarbrough Pickard, 70, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at her home.

She was born Feb. 7, 1947, in York, Alab., daughter of Fredrick Lewis and Dolly May Green Scarbrough. She and Stanley Pickard were married Feb. 27, 1974.

She loved painting, feeding deer, fishing, golfing and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bobby Ray Davis; and two brothers, Bobby Joe Scarbrough, and Richard Waren Scarbrough

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Stan Pickard; six children, Steve Lee Davis, Lacey Lewis Davis, Angela Kay Hodges, Jackie Shafer, Cathy Pickard and Richard Pickard; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Scarbrough; and a host of family and friends.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Leon Michel officiating. Burial was in Summersville City Cemetery.
