The Houston seventh-grade basketball team will play for a championship Thursday night.

The Lady Tigers edged Liberty 23-20 Tuesday night in the semifinals of the Mountain Grove Tournament. Houston will play Licking in the title game.

Aliyah Walker scored eight points and Mackenzie Bryan added seven for the Lady Tigers (2-0).
