The Houston seventh-grade girls’ basketball team opened the 2017 season Monday night with a convincing 30-2 victory against Willow Springs.

Aliyah Walker scored a team-high eight points for the Lady Tigers, who led 10-0 after the opening quarter and by 16 at the half.  Mackenzie Bryan and Karlee Curtis added six points apiece.

The Houston eighth-grade girls lost 41-12.
