Charles “Chuck” Cockcroft, 63, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, in Lebanon.
He was born March 15, 1954, in Miami, Fla., son of Norman and Lois Heap Cockcroft.
He spent his military career of 20 years in the Navy. Some of his favorite ports were Malta, Spain, and Italy. His was Norfolk, Va., where he always considered his home port.
He loved cooking and helping others.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Kay of the home in Licking; a sister, Norma Gomez of Russellville, Tenn.; two brothers, Bruce Cockcroft of St. Augustine, Fla., and Dennis Cockcroft of Galveston, Texas; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many other family members.
A remembrance ceremony will be held in the spring. Arrangements were under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
