The following meals and activities will be available next week at Houston Senior Center:
• Monday, Dec. 11– hot ham and cheese sandwich, vegetable barley soup, oranges and chocolate cookie. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard; 9 a.m. adult coloring; free lunch drawing.
• Tuesday, Dec. 12– meatloaf, gravy, whipped potatoes, Winter Blend vegetables, bread and peach cream bars. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard.
• Wednesday, Dec. 13– ham and bean, oven roasted potatoes, spinach, corn bread and chocolate bunt cake. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard; 9:30 a.m. board meeting; 10 a.m. cards.
• Thursday, Dec. 14– baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, roll, green beans and cherry poke cake. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard.
• Friday, Dec. 15– pork roast, gravy, stuffing, roll, sweet potatoes, green beans and black forest cake. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard; 9 a.m. exercise; 11 a.m. Christmas dinner.
Salad bar is available every day. Barbecue chicken wings every Friday as an alternate to the meat.
Drawing for five free meals is noon on Mondays, must be present to win.
There are two other food options available in dining room with 10-minute wait.
