• Chance H. Hunter, 18, of 402 Forrest Drive in Houston, was issued citations for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and peace disturbance by fighting after an incident at Casey’s General Store on U.S. 63 just after midnight Dec. 2.
An officer was dispatched to the store regarding a fight in progress. Upon arrival, the officer observed Hunter and another male facing one another in a fighting stance in the parking lot and separated them. After investigation and speaking to an employee who witnessed the fight, Hunter was cited for fighting. While the officer was speaking to Hunter inside the patrol car, the officer smelled a strong odor of alcohol and Hunter admitted to drinking several beers earlier that night.
