Russell Clyde Rodda, 85, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at Houston House.

He was born Dec. 22, 1931, in Negaunee, Mich., son of Frank Rodda and Mary Sylvester. He and Jean Lorraine Sandel were married Aug. 8, 1953, in L’Anse, Mich.

He served in the Army as a medic during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean Sandel Rodda; two brother;s and three sisters.

Survivors include three children, Steven Rodda and Chirstine Rodda Davis of California and Timothy Rodda of Washington; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 18 at the Raymondville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Maggie Kramer officiating. Cremation was under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
