Colton Stewart hit three 3-pointers and scored 15 points as the Houston seventh-grade boys’ basketball team beat Thayer 37-23 Thursday night at home.

Anthony Carroll added nine points for the Tigers, who led 11-2 after the opening quarter. Tre Bolden added six and Garyn Hall had five.

EIGHTH GRADE: Korbyn Tune scored seven points and Wiley Sisco had five in the Tigers’ 70-19 defeat Thursday night to Thayer.
