Houston House names employee/resident of the month
LaVesta Brallier is the resident of the month at Houston House. A native of Houston, she was married to Jim Brallier for 56 years before his passing. The Bralliers have five children they raised on their farm. There are five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She worked at Texas County Memorial Hospital for 40 years before retiring. Her hobbies included raising her children, going to church and playing the piano there and singing. She says she loved to play marbles as a child. Her husband was a pilot and learned the skill from him. They traveled to most states and several countries after retiring.
