Janet Ann Hansen Brown, 72, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at her home in Raymondville.
She was born Dec. 28, 1945, in Murray, Utah, daughter of Robert E. and Renee Robins Hansen. She and Philip Huller were married in 1967. She later married Dennis Brown in 1998.
She grew up in Fayetteville, N.Y., and graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School in 1963.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various assignments at church throughout her life, including Sunday school teacher, seminary teacher and most recently a counselor in the Relief Society Presidency. She loved her Savior and recently had taken on the challenge to read every scripture that was about Jesus Christ.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, painting, knitting, weaving and most recently yoga.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Douglas Wade Huller; and a daughter, Kristie Elizabeth Huller.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Brown of Raymondville; her ex-husband, Philip Huller of Minoa, N.Y.; a brother, Emerson Wade Hansen of Baldwinsville, N.Y.; three daughters, Gwendolynne Huller of Ashburn, Va., Bethel Willingham of Germantown, Md., and Larissa Flint of Baltimore, Md.; a son, Jared Huller of Woodstock, Ga.; nine biological grandchildren; and many step and other family members.
A gathering of family and friends was held Monday, Jan. 29, at Evans Funeral Home. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
