Dearl Leon Cook, 74, of Bucyrus, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, in Houston.
He was born Dec. 31, 1943, in Plato, son of Robert and Vera Massey Cook.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He loved working with old cars. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three daughters, Cindy Cook, Lisa Richards and Dorothea Gott; a grandson; and a brother, Donald Wayne Cook.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Cook of the home; two sons, Daniel Cook of Success and John Cook of Moberly; a daughter, Thenia Evans of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Kimrey of Plato; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 6 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at Evans Funeral Home. Cremation was under the direction of the funeral home.
