Senior Kaitlyn Root scored 26 points to lead the HHS Lady Tigers past Mountain Grove 41-36 on the road Monday night.
Ally Morgan and Chloe Hunninghake added six points each for Houston (10-14, 4-2 South Central Association).
The game was tied 33-all entering the fourth quarter before Houston pulled away with an 8-3 advantage.
Last Thursday, Root scored 20 points in a 52-46 defeat at Plato.
Hunninghake hit four 3-pointers en route to 15 points for HHS. Morgan had 10.
Houston ends the regular season today (Thursday) at Thayer.
