Russell Paul Pendergraft, 76, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born April 24, 1941, in Washington County, son of Orvel Pendergraft and Maggie Leona Derring. He and Betty Geraldine Thompson were married Dec. 10, 1965.
He loved going to Akers Ferry as well as mushroom and deer hunting. He enjoyed the outdoors and cutting wood.
He preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Carl Pendergraft, Ervin Pendergraft and Lenny Pendergraft; and a sister, Juanita Pendergraft.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Geraldine Pendergraft; six children, Ginny Rhodes, of Tyler, Texas, Sherry Daffan of Glen Rose, Texas, Denise Barton of Raymondville, Paul Lowell of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Sharon Garrett of Cabool, Rusty Pendergraft of Hartshorn; 22 grandchildren; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; seven siblings, Leatta Thornton, Ethel Schaepperkoetter, Lou Jones, Donnie Perndergraft, Lloyd Pendergraft, Thelma Pendergraft, and Audie Pendergraft; and numerous friends.
Memorial services will be held a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
