Graveside services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Bado Cemetery

Urban “Butch” Tate, 79, son of Noah Tate and Thelma Stewart, was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Bado, Mo. He passed away Feb. 1, 2018, at Texas County Memorial Hospital after fighting numerous medical issues.

Mr. Tate was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Louise.

He is survived by three children, Billy and wife, Valorie, of Independence, Mo., Jimmy and wife, Lisa, of Cabool, Mo., and Stephanie and her husband, Josh, of Cabool, Mo.; five grandchildren, Alissa, Justin, Jamie Ray, Jaret and Jordan; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lanell Cooper of Springfield, Mo.

Butch enjoyed fishing and being on the lake. He also enjoyed being a preacher and pastored numerous churches throughout his life.

Butch also had a passion for racing of all types. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him especially his family.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, in Bado Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
