A Success man is held without bond following a Texas County shooting on Tuesday night.
Joshua Breedlove, 30, is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action after a 29-year-old woman was shot, authorities said.
The woman sustained two wounds to her back and had an exit wound to her chest, according to a county deputy.
The victim was treated at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston before being transferred to a Springfield hospital. She had numerous ballistic fragments in her chest cavity and the lobe of her left lung from shots fired from a .22-caliber revolver, authorities reported. The weapon was recovered.
