A Cabool man is in the Texas County Jail following a drug find, authorities said.

Three Cabool residents are charged with drug-related felonies following an investigation by the Cabool Police Department and the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.

Tyler Marsh, 24; and Charles M. Hall, 32, both of Cabool,  are charged with possession of a controlled substance and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Britney Calton, 26, of Cabool, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia – prior drug offense; and engaging the welfare of a child involving drugs. 

According to a county deputy’s report, officers served a search warrant at about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment in Cabool on Cabool Apartment Drive. Marsh and Hill were reportedly inside, along with a minor child. While the officers were there, Calton who is a tenant of the apartment arrived.

Following a search of the dwelling, several drug-related items were found in a night stand in the master bedroom:

•Nine syringes, including one containing a clear liquid that tested positive for methamphetamine.

•A blue propane torch.

•Several clear plastic bags.

•Two small containers with marijuana residue inside.

•A metal spoon with burn marks.

•A purple pill crusher with white residue.

A black propane torch was in a closet, and a glass smoking pipe with marijuana residue was found on the bed.

A small black bag containing several drug-related items was also found in the apartment, and was claimed by the other man present.

Marsh is in the Texas County Jail on $200,000 bond. Hill’s bond is set at $75,000 and Calton’s is $125,000.
