The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing one of the top bands in Christian rock to the 2018 Old Settlers Reunion.
Hawk Nelson will perform July 28 at the chamber’s fairgrounds as the finale of the three-day event. Chamber executive director Angie Quinlan made the announcement Friday afternoon.
Hawk Nelson is a Canadian Christian rock and pop punk band from Peterborough, Ontario. Formed in 2000, the band has released seven studio albums to date, with an upcoming album set to release in April of 2018.
The group’s latest single, “Miracles,” is among the top 40 songs in Christian music.
The annual Old Settlers Reunion will kick off with a pony pull on July 26 and lawnmower racing the following night.
