Patricia Ellen York Hood, 81, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at her home.
She was born Nov. 17, 1936, in Licking, daughter of Cyrus and Lyddie York. She and Darrell Eugene Hood were married July 22, 1960. He passed away March 20, 2006.
She was baptized at a young age.
She loved her family. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, embroidery and quilting until her health no longer made that possible.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Zelta Garrison; and two brothers, James and Lloyd York.
Survivors include eight children, Doyle Hood, Kenneth Hood, Trina Stroder, Maxine Stevens, Walttreia Potts, Glenda Hood, Emily Parker and Paula Martin; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Ruby Craig, Betty James, Mary York, Martha Ice and Grace Duncan; three brothers, Wes York, Billy Cyrus York and John York; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Services were Saturday, March 3, at Fox Funeral Home with Pastor Darius Wentz officiating. Burial was in Boone Creek Cemetery.
