A Plato man escaped injury Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck in Pulaski County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Michael C. Stevens, was traveling onto an Interstate 44 on-ramp when the 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis he was driving went off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
A passenger, Phyllis L. Clevenger, 41, of St. Robert, was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. She and Stevens were both wearing seat belts.
The vehicle received minor damage in the 12:39 p.m. wreck.
