Military veteran

Ralph E. Honeycutt, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

He was born June 3, 1931, son of Everett Allen Honeycutt and Anna Mae Martin. He and Vina Virginia Grogan were married Dec. 13, 1957.

He served in the Army in Korea from 1952 to 1954.

He and his wife, Vina, raised their family on a dairy farm for many years. After selling the farm, he drove a Southeast Missouri Transportation Service bus for 21 years.

He loved sharing his love of animals, antiques and cherry chocolates with his grandchildren.

He held God close to his heart. He was a member of Glory Bound Full Gospel Community Church in Hutton Valley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Reva Simpson, Mildred Lockman, and Edna Martin; two brothers, Dale Honeycutt and Kenneth Honeycutt; and a grandson.

Survivors include his wife Vina; two daughters, Catherine Fiske and Carolyn Plowman; a son, Stephen Honeycutt; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, March 17, at Glory Bound Full Gospel Church in Hutton Valley with the Rev. Don Earith and the Rev. Benny Dewitt officiating. Burial with military honors were in Moniter Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
