Arthur Randall “Randy” Griggs, 80, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at his home.
He was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Ebo, son of Arthur Raymond Griggs and Ava Jane McQurie.
He and his wife, Susan, lived in Ebo many years. He worked as a mechanical engineer at a tire company there. They later moved to Summersville and were active in several local churches.
He enjoyed seeing the cattle graze and having horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Susan of the home; three children, Robin, Joe and Danny; two grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Private graveside services were Saturday, Feb. 24, in Bethel Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Green officiating. Services were under the care of Bradford Funeral Home.
