The Houston Middle School softball team is 5-1 in its inaugural season after blowing out Winona 15-0 in three innings Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Tigers had 10 hits, including two apiece by Mackenzie Holder, Mackenzie Arthur and Madison Reed. All nine players scored at least once.
Seventh-grader Aliyah Walker struck out six and walked none in the complete-game win. She allowed two hits.
