• Houston Citizens for Education meeting, 7 p.m. at Houston High School library.

• The 34th annual Licking Rodeo runs through June 2. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. each evening. The rodeo starts at 7 p.m.

JUNE 2

• Pearcy and Stilley family reunion at Oak Hill Christian Church, 6902 Douglas Rd., Houston. Lunch served at noon.

• Montauk State Park will hold an informational meeting beginning at 8 p.m. at the park’s amphitheater. The public is invited to share comments about the park and its operations.

• Students in grades 7-12 are invited to be part of the Launch House Party from 6 p.m. until midnight. The event is inside the Launch Student Center on the campus of Faith Fellowship. A contemporary worship service is 7-8 p.m. The facility is then open until midnight for rock climbing, pool, basketball, ping pong, hoverboards, video games and more. A full snack bar with coffee grinders and food is available.

JUNE 4

• “Game On” Vacation Bible School starts at 6 p.m. through June 8 at Northside Baptist Church. Classes for pre-K through adults. Meal served at 5:30 p.m.

JUNE 9

• The Texas County Memorial Hospital Healthcare Foundation’s 13th annual charitable golf tournament will be a 1 p.m. at Oakwood Golf Club.

JUNE 12

• Rick Dixon, Democrat, running for Texas County presiding commissioner, will be available for discussion and questions concerning the upcoming election from 5 to 8:30 p.m. inside the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds. Mike Lybyer will also be speaking.

WEEKLY

• Licking Adult Education and Literacy classes are 4-7 p.m. every Tuesday and 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the basement at the First Baptist Church in Licking.

• Raymondville Adult Education and Literacy classes are 5-8 p.m. every Wednesday in the conference room at McClain Forest Products.

• Monthly motorcycle cruise-in is from 6:30 8 p.m. last Thursday of each month at Licking Sonic, Highways 32 and 63.
