MAY 31
• The 34th annual Licking Rodeo is May 31 and June 1-2. Cost is $15 for adults and $7 for kids ages 6-11. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. each evening. Starts at 7 p.m.
• The Houston High School football team’s third annual “hired hands sale” is 7 p.m. at the football stadium. The public can “hire” players for work through auction-style bidding. Seniors are available for eight hours of work while juniors, sophomores and freshmen are available for four.
JUNE 2
• First Responders meeting and training, 6 – 8 p.m. at the Roby Fire Station.
• Students in grades 7-12 are invited to be part of the Launch House Party from 6 p.m. until midnight the first Saturday night of each month. The event is inside the Launch Student Center on the campus of Faith Fellowship. A contemporary worship service is 7:30-8:30 p.m. The facility is then open until midnight for rock climbing, pool, basketball, ping pong, hoverboards, video games and more. A full snack bar is available.
