Texas County’s unemployment figure decreased one-half of percentage point in April, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
The rate was 4.2 percent.
The labor force totaled 9,221 — of those 384 were unemployed, according to the report.
Other counties and their jobless rates: Douglas, 3.8; Howell, 3.8; Shannon, 5; and Wright, 3.9
The average in south-central Missouri was 4.7 percent.
