After its winning streak was snapped, the Houston tennis team started a new one.
The Tigers cruised past Willow Springs 7-2 on Friday for its ninth victory and second in a row.
Isaiah Buse led the way with an 8-0 win as the Tigers, who are 9-4, won five of the six singles matches. Kyle Wills won 8-1, Grady Todd was victorious 8-2 and Kyler Ramsey and Elliot Clark were 8-6 winners.
In doubles play, Buse and Ramsey won 8-2. Mills and Clayton Moore held on 8-6.
Last Tuesday, HHS won 76 of the 80 games played in an 8-0 blanking of Licking.
Three players –– Buse, Trenton Smith and Mills – won their singles matches with 8-0 shutouts. Ramsey, Todd and Clark were 8-1 winners.
In doubles play, Buse and Ramsey as well as Todd and Smith won 8-0.
