Missouri State Parks has launched a new website designed especially for recruiting military veterans for positions within the state parks system. This new site is a significant step forward in a continued initiative by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to recruit and hire more veterans, starting with its Division of State Parks.
The Missouri State Parks veteran recruitment website includes a list of positions open to veteran applicants, details on the application process and an overview of state employee benefits. There are also links to a wide variety of employment services and resources for veterans provided by other state and federal agencies and programs. The Missouri State Parks veteran recruitment website can be accessed at mostateparks.com/veteran-recruitment-program.
“Recruiting and hiring military veterans is one of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ top priorities,” said DNR Director Carol S. Comer. “What sets them apart and makes them truly unique in today’s workforce is their well-proven dedication and commitment to what they believe in. We recognize that those character traits, combined with unparalleled training, knowledge and skills, are critical to our department reaching its full potential. That’s why hiring veterans is so important to us.”
