Members of the Texas County Commission handled personnel matters May 16 and inked a letter of support for highway improvements at Cabool.
The commissioners approved a letter of support to the Missouri Department of Transportation for the City of Cabool concerning improvements along Highway 181.
In other matters, members:
• Reviewed and acknowledged the hiring of Cheynne Story as a fulltime jailer beginning May 16, Brenda Rowles as a fulltime dispatcher on May 16 and Brandon Swindle as a full-time jailer (no start date listed). The pay is $9.50 an hour.
• Reviewed and acknowledged the resignation of deputy Reuben Salazar effective May 12 and Cpl. Mike Huffman on May 9.
• Adjourned into a closed session.
