The following meals and activities will be available next week at Houston Senior Center:

Monday, July 2– tamale pie, refried beans, lettuce and tomatoes and ice cream with toppings. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; pool and shuffleboard; exercise room; adult coloring; puzzles; 10 a.m. Matter of Balance (MOB) class; free meal drawing at noon.

Tuesday, July 3– roast pork loin with pears, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, wheat roll and oatmeal raisin cookie. 9 – 11 a.m. craft/chat group; 10 a.m. – noon Nail Clinic by Oxford; 12:30 p.m. bingo.

Wednesday, July 4– Closed, Fourth of July holiday.

Thursday, July 5– oven fried chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, seasoned green beans, wheat roll and comfort cake. 8 a.m. – noon quilting; pool and shuffleboard; exercise room; adult coloring; puzzles.

Friday, June 29– sliced baked ham with pineapple, Au Gratin potatoes, Country Blend vegetables, bread slice and chocolate cream pie. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; pool and shuffleboard; exercise room; adult coloring; puzzles; 10 a.m. MOB class.

Salad bar is available every day.

Drawing for five free meals is noon on Mondays, must be present to win. There are two other food options available in dining room with 10-minute wait except, not available on Thursday.
