The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued 34 citations and 18 warnings May 26 during a hazardous moving violation enforcement operation in Texas County.
Totals from the enforcement effort included:
• Eight speed citations.
• 11 no seat belt citations.
• Five non-moving violation citations.
• One commercial motor vehicle hazardous moving citation.
• One other hazardous moving violation citation.
• One driver license violation citation.
• Seven uninsured motorist citations.
“Hazardous moving violation operations are one tool the Missouri State Highway Patrol uses to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri’s motorists,” said Capt. Mark G. Inman. “Please be careful when you’re behind the wheel and always be a courteous driver.”
