Shelba Jean Curtis, 81, of Slater and formerly of Plato, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
She was born May 5, 1937, in Mooney Hollow, near Licking, daughter of Robert “Bob” and Margaret Caroline “Maggie” Buckner Williams. She married Orval Leo Curtis of Duke. They were divorced.
She worked at central kitchen at Fort Leonard Wood until her retirement. She was a member of New Life Ministries at Evening Shade.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Lou Curtis.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Leo “Danny” Curtis; a daughter, Toni Marlene Todd; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, June 23, at Fox Funeral Home with Pastor Judy Routh officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery.
