The following arrests were reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Brittany J. Hoots, 32, of Mountain Grove, was arrested Saturday for driving while suspended, second offense; careless and imprudent driving involving an accident and endangering the welfare of a child, second degree. She was taken to the Texas County Jail and later released.
• Christopher L. Austin, 29, of Willow Springs, was arrested Saturday on two misdemeanor warrants from the Willow Springs Police Department, failure to register a motor vehicle, no insurance and letting an unauthorized underage driver operate a motor vehicle.
• Darren L. Backues, 26, of Licking, was arrested Saturday for speeding and possession of marijuana, 10 grams or less – prior drug offense. He was cited and released.
• David M. Klotz, 51, of Houston, was arrested Saturday for driving while intoxicated. He was taken to the Texas County Jail.
• Donald G. Connor, 31, of Springfield, was arrested last Thursday in Texas County on charges of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and no insurance. He was cited and released.
• Laura G. Skinner, 29, of Springfield, was cited and released last Thursday afternoon in Texas County for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
• Kelsie M. Williams, 20, of Springfield, was cited and released last Thursday afternoon in Texas County for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
• Terry M. Arvin, 54, of Summersville, was arrested last Wednesday night on three counts of second-degree assault. and careless and imprudent driving. He was taken to the Texas County Jail. He was formally charged the following day with second-degree assault and held on $200,000 bond.
• Royce S. Swann, 19, of Elk Creek, was arrested last Wednesday on felony possession of 35 grams or less marijuana – methamphetamine, felony unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia – amphetamine and failure to register motor vehicle with the department of revenue. He was cited and released.
