Houston High school is hosting its annual regional college fair Sept. 12 inside Hiett Gymnasium. The program, scheduled through the Missouri School-College Relations Commission, provides both parents and students with an opportunity to gain information from a variety of school and state agencies regarding postsecondary planning and career development. The format allows parents and students to visit with representatives from colleges, vocational schools, military branches and governmental agencies. More than 50 representatives are expected to be in attendance.
The schedule for the event will be:
• HHS freshmen and sophomores, 9-9:15 a.m.
• HHS juniors and seniors, 9:20-9:55 a.m.
• Cabool, Eminence, Licking, Mountain Grove, Plato and Summersville students, 10-10:30 a.m.
