Cynthia Jones-Ramsey, left, will be the new market manager for Progressive Ozark Bank's Houston branch following the retirement of Earleen Holder, right.

Progressive Ozark Bank in Houston announced Cynthia Jones-Ramsey will assume leadership following the retirement of Earleen Holder as market manager for the branch.

Jones-Ramsey is a lifetime Houston resident with a background in marketing, insurance and financial services. She and her husband, Jimmy, and their children reside on their family farm near Raymondville.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity,” Jones-Ramsey said. “My first priority is to assure the customers that we will continue to give them the excellent service they have come to expect under Earleen’s leadership.”

Holder has been with the organization for 32 years in December of this year.

“It has been a lifetime of opportunities at Progressive Ozark Bank,” she said. “Now, those opportunities continue in a new chapter for both myself and Cynthia.”

Progressive Ozark Bank and Holder said they sought to select a candidate that aligned well with their vision and core values. Holder said she is assured they have found that in Jones-Ramsey.

“These decisions weren’t taken lightly,” Holder said. “I’m confident the customers will be pleased, and I’m looking forward to seeing all the future holds.”
