• Hickory Ridge Baptist Church will have a fish fry at 5 p.m. Take West Highway 17 to Highway 38, turn right on Highway FF, go four miles. Church will provide fish, hotdogs, table settings and drinks. Please bring side dish and/or dessert. There will be a singing afterwards.

• Students in grades 7-12 are invited to be part of the Launch House Party from 6 p.m. until midnight the first Saturday night of each month. A contemporary worship service is 7:30-8:30 p.m.

• The annual Yukon reunion is at Big Creek Church with a potluck dinner at 1 p.m. The committee will provide the meat, plates and utensils. Bring your lawn chairs, musical instruments and a covered dish. For more information, call Darlene Engle at 417-457-6516.

• The Houston Ministerial Alliance meets at noon the second Wednesday of each month at First Free Will Baptist Church in Houston.
